The department of psychological support of Apolloneio Rehabilitation Center is staffed by specialized health psychologists providing psychological support at individual, family and team level. The department of psychological support is of exceptional importance to patients and their family environment because it helps encourage patients to participate in activities, boost their self-confidence, better accept and handle their new situation arising from their disability.

The main goal of the psychological support and advice, during and after hospitalization, is to help people become aware of the difficulties that they are called to face, regain the control of their lives and, consequently, understand themselves.
